Moms, remember that the auctions held during Mom’s and Dad’s weekend are the primary fund raisers for the parent’s club to support our girls and the chapter in general. In order to continue providing this kind of support and have a successful auction, we need as many Moms as possible to donate baskets and items for the auction and also to participate in the auction. The more we have, the more opportunity we have for everyone to find something to bid on and the more fun we all have!
Examples of successful baskets we have had in the past include:
- Hair products basket including all sorts of products, a blow dryer and a curling iron/flat iron
- Wine baskets
- Cooking baskets with items from Pampered Chef or similar type products
- Scrapbooking baskets
- Gift card trees with gift cards for businesses online or in the Pullman area
- Victoria’s Secret baskets
- Cougar gear baskets
- Airline tickets
- Designer items like purses, sun glasses, jewelry, etc.
- Margarita baskets
- Martini baskets
- Golf clubs/ golf bags
These are just examples so feel free to use your imagination and come up with your own fun basket
