A lot of activity has been going on at the Omega Chapter house since our daughters left for the summer. Linda Tate, the house director, has been working to get the house ready for when the girls return next month.
As you may recall, at the Mom's weekend parents club meeting we agreed to contribute $7,500 toward replacing the flooring in the downstairs TV room (a.k.a. "The Crib"). The flooring has been replaced and Linda is purchasing some final touches for the room to have it in tip top shape for recruitment. Linda will be purchasing an area rug as well as decorative pillows and other odds and ends to update the appearance of this room.
Also, the backrooms on the top floor of the house have now been updated similarly to the second floor rooms that were done last year and all mattresses on every bed in the house are being replaced. These last two improvements were funded by the Alpha Chi Omega National Housing Corporation.
