A parking space has been donated and reserved for one lucky Dad from noon on Friday(10/11)until Sunday (10/13) at 3:00 pm. THis exclusive spot is in the AXO parking lot and will come with your own personalized sign!
Here is how it works-

Your dollar amount(no cents)
Your name
We will post the top bid on the AXO Blog, updating five times daily. In case of a tie, the first bid submitted wins. Bidding will end promptly at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 9th. Credit card or debit card payment is due when the winner is notified. Happy Bidding and GOOD LUCK!

As tradition the AXO Parent's Club will be holding their semiannual fund raising auction immediately following out club meeting. We would love to have you as a new club member or help out by participate in the auction through donating an item(s) or buy a basket!
Here are a few suggestions but you may have better ideas.......
WSU/Cougar themed baskets
Alpha Chi Omega items
Any golf item
Outerwear
Wine baskets
"Room" baskets for your daughter

Mom's Weekend 2013 Reminder
Good Morning Parent Club Members,
We wanted to remind you of Mom's weekend starting this coming Friday! There are many events taking place for your entertainment and learning.
Don't forget to attend the Parent's Club meeting and auction Saturday 4/13 beginning at 9:00am after breakfast. We will be nominating new officers during this meeting. Volunteering to be an officer is a great way to be involved in the house and get to know other parents and their daughters. It truly is a very limited time commitment and extremely rewarding.
If you are bringing a gift basket for the auction they can be dropped off at AXO any time before 9:00am Saturday so they can be prepped for the auction. If possible please provide a list of items contained in the basket and its retail value. Let us know if you need an alternative way to get your donations to the auction.See you in a few days!

Our auction on Saturday morning is something that we do every year for both Mom's and Dad's weekend to raise money for facility additions and improvements. Because of the money that was raised during previous Mom's and Dad's Weekend auctions, we were able to renovate the back rooms on both the first and second floor, as well as our downstairs TV room (the Crib), and we hope to soon renovate the bathrooms, which has been needed for quite a while! For the upcoming auction, we ask that all of our lovely mothers provide baskets for everyone to bid on for Saturday morning, and if you need ideas for baskets, feel free to ask your daughters what parents have done in the past.
We are very excited to have all of you visit us for the weekend because there is going to be so much to do and we can't wait to spend some quality time with our moms! You should all be very proud to have such amazing daughters, and I am so lucky to be able to call them my sisters.

AXO Parent's Club Update -
Below are pictures of the items the parents club agreed to purchase for the chapter at the parents club meeting during Dad's weekend in November.
We purchased 30 additional chairs for the chapter room. These are specific chairs ordered through the national office that have the AXO symbol of the Lyre in the back of the chairs.
We also agreed to purchase a large speaker for the chapter to use primarily during recruitment when they need to amplify music outside or in a larger area.
Mom's weekend will be here before you know it (April 12-14) so start thinking about what you might donate for the auction. :-)
