Congratluations to Tegan Currie for having the highest bid on the parking space.  We are off to a great start for the auction on Saturday with a bid of $275!!

Hey Moms, current bid for the parking space behind the AXO house is at $100.  you can continue to bid until 5 pm on Thursday.  At that time the highest bidder will be the lucky mom that doesnt have to search for parking all weekend.

Hey Moms... wondering where you are going to park during Mom's weekend?

A parking space has been donated and reserved for one lucky Mom from noon on Friday (4/12) until Sunday (4/14) at 3:00 pm.   This exclusive spot is in the AXO parking lot!
Here is how it works - 

Email your bid to: AXOWSUParentsclub@gmail.com  and include:
 

• Your bid dollar amount (no cents)
• Your name
   

 We will post the top bid on the AXO Parents Club Blog updating five times daily.  In case of a tie, the first bid submitted wins.  Bidding will end promptly at 5:00 pm PSTon Thursday, April 11^th.   Payment will be due when the winner is notified by credit or debit card or Paypal . Happy bidding and GOOD LUCK!!

Mom's Weekend 2013 Reminder

Mom's Weekend 4/12-14/2013

Good Morning Parent Club Members,

We wanted to remind you of Mom's weekend starting this coming Friday! There are many events taking place for your entertainment and learning.

Don't forget to attend the Parent's Club meeting and auction Saturday 4/13 beginning at 9:00am after breakfast. We will be nominating new officers during this meeting.  Volunteering to be an officer is a great way to be involved in the house and get to know other parents and their daughters. It truly is a very limited time commitment and extremely rewarding.

If you are bringing a gift basket for the auction they can be dropped off at AXO any time before 9:00am Saturday so they can be prepped for the auction.  If possible please provide a list of items contained in the basket and its retail value. Let us know if you need an alternative way to get your donations to the auction.See you in a few days!

We look forward to seeing many of you at Mom's Weekend in a couple weeks. Now is a great time to start collecting those items for your basket to donate for the auction.  We are also looking for one of the girls to donate their parking spot to auction off.  Let us know if your daughter is interested in raising money for her house!

I would love to invite you to the Omega chapter at Washington State University for a weekend full of fun with your amazing daughters. This years Mom's Weekend is April 12 through April 14, which is coming up very soon!
 
Take a look at the schedule below and go to the WSU website to get an idea of things that are happening through our chapter, as well as through the university. You can find more information about the activities below on the events calendar on the WSU website.  Whether you're seeing the Wayne Brady Comedy Show, or just spending some one-on-one time with your daughter, I hope you'll check out all the possibilities to ensure that you have a fun-filled Mom's Weekend.

Our auction on Saturday morning is something that we do every year for both Mom's and Dad's weekend to raise money for facility additions and improvements. Because of the money that was raised during previous Mom's and Dad's Weekend auctions, we were able to renovate the back rooms on both the first and second floor, as well as our downstairs TV room (the Crib), and we hope to soon renovate the bathrooms, which has been needed for quite a while! For the upcoming auction, we ask that all of our lovely mothers provide baskets for everyone to bid on for Saturday morning, and if you need ideas for baskets, feel free to ask your daughters what parents have done in the past.
 
We are very excited to have all of you visit us for the weekend because there is going to be so much to do and we can't wait to spend some quality time with our moms! You should all be very proud to have such amazing daughters, and I am so lucky to be able to call them my sisters.
